To display a time series of soil moisture index data, click the map. To display other variable overlays, click the 'Overlays' tab.
The slider adjusts the transparency of the overlay. To play an animation of SMI data, select a time range and press Update. You can toggle between daily and monthly timesteps
in the top right corner.
